There was a gathering of skippers at Laurel Acres Park for the annual FYBOR. However, a 1/2″ of ice covered >80% of the pond. Despite the mighty efforts of Domenic Bonanno and Jim Flach to breakup and disperse the ice it was to no avail. The day was therefore spent in camaraderie with fellow skippers. Although there was no racing that day, the presence of Dave Brawner was felt by all who knew him.
